Breach of Code 2 - deliberately stood outside the 30 yard field restriction circle at the moment of delivery knowing it is contrary to playing conditions and repeated the offence during a number of overs. The match referee asked him to abide by the standard playing conditions in the future. C Smith
Lance Klusener South Africa v Zimbabwe ODI
6th February 2000 at Durban
Breach of Codes 2 & 5 - pointed to changing room and used abusive language at Mr G Whittall on his dismissal. A suspended suspension of 2 Test matches and 2 ODI's was imposed for a three-month periodeffective until 6 May 2000. Hanumant Singh
Guy Whittall South Africa v Zimbabwe ODI
6th February 2000 at Durban
Breach of Code 5 - used abusive language at Mr Lance Klusener in response to a comment directed at him by the aforesaid. A suspended fine of 30% of his match fee was imposed for a one-month period effective until 6 March 2000. Hanumant Singh
Inzamam-ul-Haq Pakistan v Sri Lanka 3rd Test Match
12th/16th March 2000 at Karachi
Breach of Code 8 - Mr Ul Haq was reported in 'TheDawn' newspaper criticising the attitude of the Sri Lankan players. A severe reprimand was issued plus a suspended fine of 25% of his gross match fee for a 6 month period effective until 15 September 2000. B Hastings
Grant Flower West Indies v Zimbabwe 1stTest Match
16th/20th March 2000 in Trinidad
Breach of Code 2 - after being bowled, Mr Flower turned around and hit the stump out of the ground. Fined 40% of his gross match fee with suspended suspension of 1 Test or 2 ODIs for a four month period effective until 20th July 2000. R Madugalle
Inzamam-ul-Haq West Indies v Pakistan 3rd Test Match
25th/29th May 2000 in Antigua
Breach of Code 3 - after being given 'out' caught behind, Mr Ul Haq stood at the crease for an extended time and walked very slowly, shaking his head. Fined 50% of his match plus 25% of his match fee for West Indies v Pakistan 3rd Test (for details of suspended sentence refer above). P.J.Burge
Arshad Khan Sri Lanka v Pakistan 2ndTest Match
21st/24th June 2000 in Galle
Breach of Code 3 - following on from an earlier warning to the Pakistan captain regarding dissent, Mr Khan stood for a longtime before he accepted with poor grace an LBW decision. Fined 30% of his match fee. J.R.Reid
Waqar Younis Pakistan v South Africa ODI
8th July 2000 at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo
Breach of Codes 1 & 2 - following on from an earlier incident whereby the Pakistan team had been warned, a TV 'slo-mo'showed Waqar Younis changing the condition of the ball. Suspended for one(1) One Day International match and fined 50% of his match fee. J.R.Reid

Adam Parore Zimbabwe v New Zealand 2ndTest, Harare

Breach of Code 2 - pushed Guy Whittall because he thought the batsman had deliberately put his bat in his way when collecting the ball. Severely reprimanded. C.W.Smith
Alastair Campbell Zimbabwe v New Zealand 9thOctober 2000, Nairobi Campbell was given out by Umpire Steve Bucknor and instead of leaving the crease immediately, remained there for a period of time, and subsequently left the field shaking his head and mouthing words of dissent. One match suspension enforced at next ODI series to be played by Zimbabwe. C.W.Smith
Roger Telemachus India v South Africa 13thOctober 2000, Nairobi Breach of clause 2 - deliberately barged into R Dravid in the 34th for no apparent reason, found guilty of engaging in conduct unbecoming of an international cricketer. One match suspension from next available ODI series (1st game) C.W.Smith
Nasser Hussain Pakistan v England ODI, Rawalpindi

Breach of Code 2 - dressing room fridge glass door broken by Hussain after being given out LBW - pleaded guilty. Severely reprimanded. B.N.Jarman

Breach of Code 2,3 & 4 - showing dissent several times towards umpire Sathe. Suspended for (1) One Day International matchand suspended suspension of (2) One Day International matches for period 11 Dec 00 - 1 June 01.
