New Zealand sealed a place in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy after a stunning win over Pakistan at The Wanderers.

Pakistan had made a disappointing 233-9 off 50 overs, with Umar Akmal (55) and Mohammad Yousuf (45) top scoring, although it was also grateful for an unbeaten stand of 35 for the tenth wicket.

In reply, New Zealand looked in trouble at 71-3 and struggled to score against some excellent bowling from the likes of Mohammad Aamer who took 1-32 in 10 overs.

But Grant Elliott (75 not out) and Daniel Vettori (41) timed the run chase to perfection, taking advantage of the batting power play, to comfortably achieve its victory by five wickets.
