The West Indies received a boost ahead of the ICC Champions when it defeated the North West Dragons by 103 runs on Monday.

It recorded a massive 345 all out, with Floyd Reifer (79), Chadwick Walton (69), Travis Dowlin (57) and Andre Fletcher (52) all recording half centuries. In reply, Darren Sammy was the pick of the West Indies attack as he took 3-33 to restrict the Dragons to 242-9.

This followed on from Saturday's game when the West Indies lost to Cape Cobras by three wickets, despite having posted 327-7 in 50 overs.
