With less than three weeks to go before the first ball is bowled in the ICC Champions Trophy 2013, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule of captains’ pre-tournament media conferences.

Except for host England and New Zealand, who will be busy in a three-match ODI series, the captains of the remaining six sides participating in this elite tournament will hold media conferences immediately after their arrival in England and Wales. Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews will kick-off the pre-tournament activity by holding his media conference on Tuesday 28 May at 0945 in the Sonata Room, Hyatt Hotel in Birmingham. This will be followed by Pakistan captain Mishab-ul-Haq’s news conference at 1000 at the same location.
