Requests for proposals issued for event signage, LED boards and on-field signage at ICC
The successful company or companies will be granted the rights and responsibilities to deliver signage requirements of the tournament, which is the third biggest sporting event in the world
2011 Cricket World Cup trophy.
The ICC and the central organising committee for the ICC Cricket World Cup (ICC CWC) 2011 are requesting proposals from companies interested in providing the following services for the event to be staged in the host nations of Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka:
*Signage production and management services
*Supply and management of on-field signage
*Supply and management of LED perimeter boards
The successful company or companies will be granted the rights and responsibilities to deliver signage requirements of the tournament, which is the third biggest sporting event in the world.
A proven track record in supplying and managing signage, LED perimeter signage and/or three-dimensional on-field signage at world-class sporting events is essential as well as sufficient resources and experience to provide all the necessary services, including design, production, installation and operation as well as appropriate infrastructure and adequately trained personnel.
"Signage is an extremely important function of the event from an ICC, sponsorship and broadcast perspective," said Campbell Jamieson, ICC General Manager - Commercial.
"The highest quality standards must be applied to achieve the desired result for all stakeholders. The ICC Cricket World Cup is the flagship event of the limited-overs game, the ultimate prize. It is critical the provision of signage services and equipment for the event are of similarly world-class nature," he said.
