With less than 150 days to go for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, Netherlands announced plans to tour India to build for the showpiece event.

The Dutch selectors named a 23-man squad for the tour. The squad also includes nine players who will travel as part of the development group.

The players will train and play in Mumbai and Pune. The focus of the tour will be preparing the players to tackle spin bowling, with a special focus on fitness and team bonding exercises.

The Dutch national team will travel for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 on 29 January and play two warm-up games (Sri Lanka and Kenya). Netherlands begin their ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 campaign on 22 February against England at Nagpur’s Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium.
