ICC President Alan Isaac announces the pool draws during the official launch of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

The International cricket Council (ICC) has launched the official website of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, which will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand in February and March 2015. This milestone coincided with the tournament launch events held yesterday in Melbourne and Wellington, at which the pools, host cities and fixtures were announced.

Containing all the latest tournament information, the site - accessible on any device from www.cricketworldcup.com - will be an essential source of tournament, ticketing, player/team/venue information, tour and travel packages for fans around the world.

Campbell Jamieson, the ICC’s General Manager – Commercial, said: “More than ever, cricket fans are engaging with cricket content, and each other, through digital platforms. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 will be the most social cricket tournament ever and this launch marks the start of that conversation.

“Fans can start planning their World Cup experience by registering now for tournament news and ticketing updates.”

Come tournament time, the official match centre will be one of the most informative and interactive to date, allowing fans to follow live ball-by-ball coverage, including an exclusive interactive video scorecard, of all event matches.

Other exclusive features will be added to the website closer to the event and will be announced in due course.

The ICC Cricket World Cup website has been developed by global digital media company, Pulse Innovations Limited.
