Scotland selectors named a 14-man squad for the final of the ICC Intercontinental Cup against Afghanistan to be played at the Dubai Sports City Stadium, Dubai from 2 December to 6 December
It was also announced that Scotland will leave on 23 November for UAE to prepare and acclimatise for the final.
Scotland head coach Peter Steindl said: "After a long, hard season of cricket which started last January in Kenya, the final will be an excellent opportunity to finish on a real high.
"This group of players has worked exceptionally hard to reach the final and we will prepare thoroughly for the hard challenge that we know Afghanistan will pose. They have been the dominant team in this competition to date, but we are confident we can compete well against them."
A few players like Ewan Chalmers (university exams), Moneeb Iqbal (work), Ryan Watson (work), were unavailable for selection for varied reasons.
