United Arab Emirates to make a strong comeback in the ICC Intercontinental Cup match against hosts Kenya on Saturday.

On the third day of the contest, UAE resumed at the overnight score of 155 for three. Saqib Ali (153: 285b, 15x4, 4x6) and Amjad Javed (100: 140b, 9x4, 2x6) continued the good work from the second day. They added 190 for the fourth wicket. Later UAE skipper Khurram Khan stroked 113 (142b, 11x4, 2x6) to further compound Kenya's problems.

Khan also added 141 with Saqib. Later Mohammad Tauqir added crucial runs with Khan, before UAE declared its innings at 439 for 8 in 114.2 overs.

Set to chase 434, Javed and Tauqir struck crucial blows to reduce Kenya to 76 for four when play ended on the third day. With one full day's play left, Kenya skipper Collins Obuya holds the key for the hosts as he remains unbeaten for now at 32.
