The Netherlands selectors on Sunday named the first-class, one-day and Twenty20 squads to play Scotland.

The Netherlands and Scotland are to play each other in a period of ten days first in the opening ICC Intercontinental Cup game, later on in two one-dayers and two Twenty20 games. All matches will be held in Aberdeen.

Key players Ryan ten Doeschate and Alexei Kervezee will miss out on the ICC Intercontinental Cup game. The duo will also miss out on one one-dayer each. While ten Doeschate will miss the first one-dayer, Kervezee will sit out the second.

Chairman of the Selection Jeroen Smits: "The selection committee has selected a group of thirteen players for the I-Cup match. Given the problems caused by work and other commitments, it was decided that a young player like Luten Mathijs be added to the squad as he can gain some experience. He has come through the KNCB-youth programme and hopefully he can benefit from it."

Coach Peter Drinnen said: "I am very happy with the squads taking part in the series against Scotland. Although the sides will miss Ryan and Alexei, they will be back for one-dayers. I feel that the squads are well balanced with plenty of experience. We have been playing some good cricket. Everyone is looking to put in good performances and make a claim. The World Twenty20 Qualifiers are not that far away and with increased depth in our squad, it will be great if the players can seize every opportunity coming their way to secure a spot.''
