Scotland registered a seven-wicket victory over host United Arab Emirates on the fourth and final day of the ICC Intercontinental Cup match at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday
Scotland earned 20 points from the win and moved to second spot on the points table.
UAE resuming on the final day at its overnight score of 286-7 was bowled out for 318 with an overall lead of 113. Gordon Goudie (3-63), Safyaan Sharif (2-61) and Majid Haq (3-72) were the key wicket-takers for Scotland.
Scotland was set to chase a score of 114, but it lost wickets early on and slipped to 40-3.
But Majid Haq (39 not out) and first innings hero Richie Berrington (42 not out) added 77 runs for the fourth wicket to help Scotland reach the target in 37.2 overs.
