Namibia captain Sarel Burger hit an unbeaten 135 to lead his side's strong reply on the second day of the ICC Intercontinental Cup match against Canada.

At the Wanderers Cricket ground in Windhoek, Namibia wrapped up Canada's innings pretty quickly on Friday morning at 274. In its reply, Namibia ended at 293 for six in 91 overs.

The star with the ball for Namibia was also Burger who ended with figures of 4-42 alongside Craig Williams' 3-68.

In its reply, Namibia was well served by Burger (135 n.o.: 260b, 12x4, 1x6). Namibia lost early wickets and at one stage was struggling at 85 for four.

Then Burger and Raymond van Schoor (71: 104b, 7x4) added 105 runs for the fifth wicket to revive the innings.

There after Burger added Ian Opperman (34 n.o.) added an unbeaten 100 runs for the sixth wicket.

For Canada, Durand Soraine (3-43) and Junaid Siddiqui (3-68) picked up the wickets.
