Scotland announces squad for Netherlands tour

Cricket Scotland has announced its squads to participate in the four-day ICC Intercontinental Cup match against Netherlands from 10-13 June and a one-day international match on 15 June

Cricket Scotland has announced its squads to participate in the four-day ICC Intercontinental Cup match against Netherlands from 10-13 June and a one-day international match on 15 June.

Gordon Drummond resumes the captaincy of the side from Gavin Hamilton for the longer format of the game, and the squad contains one uncapped player in Preston Mommsen. Hamilton and Ryan Watson were both unavailable for squad selection due to work commitments and Freddie Coleman busy with study assignments.

Scotland currently lies second in the I Cup table, eight points behind table-toppers Afghanistan. Its previous match was in January this year when it returned from Kenya with an eight-wicket victory.

The Intercontinental Cup squad is as follows: Gordon Drummond (captain), Douglas Lockhart, Preston Mommsen, Qasim Sheikh, Richie Berrington, Neil McCallum, Gregor Maiden, Majid Haq, Moneeb Iqbal, Matthew Parker, Gordon Goudie, Ross Lyons and Simon Smith

The ODI squad is as follows: Gordon Drummond (captain), Douglas Lockhart, Preston Mommsen, Qasim Sheikh, Josh Davey, Richie Berrington, Neil McCallum, Gregor Maiden, Majid Haq, Matthew Parker, Gordon Goudie, Moneeb Iqbal and Ross Lyons
