Graham Onions will be in contention for a place in the final eleven.

England selectors today announced a 13-man squad for the fourth Ashes Test commencing Friday 09 August at Emirates Durham International Cricket Ground.

Durham pace bowler Graham Onions returns to the squad alongside Chris Tremlett with all eleven players involved in the third Test also included.

England currently lead the five match Ashes series 2-0 following a 14 run victory at Trent Bridge, 347 run victory at Lord’s and a draw at Emirates Old Trafford.

National selector, Geoff Miller, said: “While the players should be congratulated on retaining the Ashes there is still a lot of cricket left in this series and it is important that the players recover and refocus ahead of another crucial week of Test cricket. The inclusion of Graham Onions and Chris Tremlett gives Andy Flower and Alastair Cook an opportunity to assess both the fitness of the bowling attack following the third Test as well as the conditions at Durham.”
