Mr Allardice made presentation on cricket, while ICC Head of Events, Chris Tetley, briefed the media on ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 preparations. Mr Richardson then gave an over-view of the health of the game and ICC’s targets.
Apart from the media, former Test cricketers and World Cup winners, Dean Jones and Ramiz Raja, as well as former Pakistan international Bazid Khan, also attend the two-hour session. The three gentlemen are commentating on the series.
Following the presentation, a 45-minute Q&A session was held during which Mr Richardson and Mr Allardice spoke about a wide range of cricket issues, including the Decision Review System (DRS), suspected illegal bowling actions and ICC’s anti-corruption code.
