Asif Ahmed receives reprimand for Code of Conduct breach - Cricket News
Asif Ahmed of Bangladesh has been reprimanded for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during his country’s 133 runs defeat against South Africa in a Group D match in the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2012 in Brisbane on Sunday

Asif admitted the charge and accepted the sanction imposed by ICC Match Referee David Boon without the need to convene a disciplinary hearing.

Through his admission, Asif was found to have breached Level 1 Article 2.1.3 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to showing dissent at an umpire’s decision.

On-field umpires Mark Hawthrone and Peter Nero, as well as third umpire Sarika Prasad brought the charge.

All Level 1 breaches for this event carry a minimum penalty of a reprimand. As with other breaches at this level, the ICC Match Referee’s decision is final and binding.
