Danielle Wyatt top-scores for England with 29-ball 41
England Women claimed an 81-run victory over Pakistan Women in the second Women's International T20, at the National Cricket Performance Centre in Loughborough on Wednesday.
England Women finished on 162-7 from their 20 overs that saw Danielle Wyatt top score with 41 off 29 balls. Sarah Taylor (35) hit six boundaries and Susie Rowe posted 29 including two maximums from the 15 balls she faced.
In reply Pakistan were restricted to 81-5 in an innings that saw Laura Marsh take 2-15 and Wyatt, Katherine Brunt and Jenny Gunn take a wicket each.
England will play West Indies Women in a five-match Women's International T20 Series commencing at the Emirates Durham ICG on Saturday 8th September.
Player of the match Danielle Wyatt said: "It was another good team performance today, we got the runs on the board and put them under pressure with the ball. I was pleased to contribute and it was very satisfying to set a new highest score. We'll take momentum from these matches into the series against the West Indies."
