The ICC today advised that tournament media passes for the ICC World Twenty20 India 2016 will be ready for collection in Mohali from Wednesday, 2 March and Dharamsala from Thursday, 3 March.

The tournament passes can be collected from the venues the media selected during the online application process. Media is advised to bring with them a photographic ID. Media will not be allowed to collect their colleagues’ passes.

Those media, which selected Nagpur as its venue to pick-up its passes, will be able to do so from Saturday 5 March.

The remaining venues, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai will have media passes available for collection from Monday 7 March.

Accreditation centres will be open from 09h30 – 18h30 on non-match days and 09h30 to the end of a match on match days.

Media covering the ICC World Twenty20 India 2016, is required to carry their tournament accreditation passes to access any official venue, including hotels for pre-event media activities, match venues and training grounds.

Upon issue of the pass, the media will also be given an official Media Guide, which is up to date until Tuesday 23 February. Any changes post Tuesday 23 February will be reflected in the PDF version of the Media Guide, which will be available at http://www.icc-cricket.com/world-t20/about/media.

Match-day tickets

In addition to your tournament pass, on match-days you will require a match-day ticket to enter the venue. These are issued on the basis of confirmation emails sent to the applicants based on their choice of matches they intend to cover.

Media, which have emails confirming that they have been accredited for the match, can collect the match-day ticket from the venue two hours prior to the start of the match until half an hour after the start of the match at specially defined media ticket collection booths, which are separate from the venue accreditation centres.

It is strongly recommended that you take a copy of the email confirmation to avoid any delays on the day.

Note: You will need to collect your ticket in person; your colleagues cannot collect it for you.
