Oman's off-spinner Amir Ali has been reported for a suspect bowling action during his side's final match in the ICC World Twenty20 India 2016 against Bangladesh in Dharamsala on Sunday.

The match officials' report, which was handed over to the Oman team management, cited concerns about the legality of the 37-year-old's bowling action.

Amir's bowling action is now required to undergo testing at the ICC-accredited testing centre in Chennai within the next seven days. During this period, Amir is permitted to continue bowling in international cricket until the results of the testing are known.

The ICC Regulations for the review of bowlers reported with suspected illegal bowling actions can be found here.
