Bangladesh recalls Nasir, Mithun for ICC World Twenty20
Youngsters Abu Haider and Nurul Hasan, both of whom recently made their debuts, retained in 15-man squad

Bangladesh’s 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 2016 will be led by Mashrafe Mortaza.
Nasir Hossain and Mohammad Mithun, left out of the recent Twenty20 International series against Zimbabwe, were named in Bangladesh’s 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 2016, to be played in India in March-April, on Wednesday (February 3).
Mithun played the last of his two T20Is in August 2014 and had a run of poor scores in the recent Bangladesh Premier League, but has been drafted in as spare batsman and an option behind the stumps.
Youngsters Abu Haider Rony and Nurul Hasan Sohan, both of whom made their debuts against Zimbabwe in the four-match series last month, have retained their places.
The squad, led by Mashrafe Mortaza, has all the regular batsmen in Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah, Mushfiqur Rahim, Soumya Sarkar and Sabbir Rahman, while the pace bowling unit has Mustafizur Rahman, Al-Amin Hossain and Taskin Ahmed, and Arafat Sunny is the frontline spin option.
Shuvagata Hom, who was picked ahead of Nasir during the Zimbabwe series, Imrul Kayes, Kamrul Islam and Mukhtar Ali have been kept on standby.
Bangladesh is placed in Group A for the First Round of the ICC World T20 along with Ireland, the Netherlands and Oman. Its first match is on March 9 against the Netherlands in Dharamsala.
