ICC Cricket For Good and Team Swachh clinic with the English women’s team - Cricket News

Boys and girls from local NGOs in Bangalore got the rare opportunity to interact with the English Women's Cricket Team.

Palpable excitement at the ICC Cricket for Good and Team Swachh clinic on 26th March, 2016. The clinic marked an important day for young boys and girls from local NGOs in Bangalore who got the rare opportunity to interact with the English Women's Cricket Team. These enthusiastic youths were looking forward to learning tricks and turns of cricket from professionals and the chance to talk to them about the critical need for sanitation and hygiene in the country.

The English Team, who had generously contributed their time and effort to the cause, immediately engaged the adolescents in a nail-biting game of cricket and within minutes had the young ones racing around the field to showcase their talent. The day proceeded with the children teaching our team the 5 crucial steps to a proper hand-wash and the necessity of maintaining hygiene. You could hear the cheers and excitement from the kids as the day ended with them receiving autographs from our players.
