Made his T20I debut against the West Indies in Brisbane in February 2013. Playing in his first ICC WT20.
Took a career-best 4-30 against England in Melbourne in January 2014, winning him the player of the match award.
Named player of the series in the 2015 Frank Worrell Trophy for his 12 wickets at 8.83 as Australia defeated the West Indies 2-0.
In November 2015, he became the first player of the match in the Day-night Test, having taken the first five-wicket haul in such a match.
