Player Bio

Perhaps the hardest hitter of the cricket ball ever, Sir Viv Richards was one of the most devastating batsmen to have ever played the game. In 121 Test matches for West Indies, Richards accumulated 8,540 runs at an average of 50.23. Perhaps the highlight of his Test career was the 1976 tour to England where he massacred the English bowling attack, scoring a whopping 829 runs in five Test matches at an average of 118.42, with a highest score of 291 in the fifth and final Test that has remained his career-best.
