Media accreditation for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is now open (not for publication)
Media Advisory
The application window for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is now open. This is an online process that can be completed by clicking here and is only for print media, websites and non-rights holding (NRH) TV and radio broadcasters.
Those who have covered any of the following ICC Events will be given preference for accreditation:
-
ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025
-
ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025
-
ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024
-
ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024
-
ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023
Though the record of attending previous ICC events (the ones mentioned above or other ICC events) will be considered, please note that attending previous ICC events does not guarantee you media accreditation.
Media accreditation is provided for journalists to report from the venue, so all applications will be assessed accordingly, keeping in mind the media organisations, the role of the applicants, the individual applicants and media spaces available at venues.
Members of the media have until 18h00 Dubai time (GMT +4) on Wednesday, 24 December to register for accreditation. As part of the process, the media will need to upload the following documents:
-
A colour headshot photograph with a plain background like a passport photo
-
Letter of approval/assignment from your Editor/Commissioning Editor
-
Passport/National Identity Card/Driving License
-
A sample of past work (from the most recent ICC event, if attended)
The ICC reserves the right to approve/reject/request further information on all applications in its sole discretion and without providing reasons for doing so.
If you need a visa letter, please indicate so in the online application form, providing your full name as in passport, passport number and the Embassy/Consulate you will be applying to. If your application is successful, you will be provided with a letter in support of your visa as per the details submitted in the form.
As at previous ICC events, NRH camerapersons will be accredited, but only reporters will be allowed in on match days.
However, to facilitate the NRHs, who will be allowed to cover any pre-match activities, all pre-match and post-match media conferences will be uploaded to the ICC’s Online Media Zone.
When you submit your selection of matches, you will get an email confirming the matches selected. Please check that they are correct and inform the accreditation team at centralaccreditation@zomato.com if there is any discrepancy.
Note for organisations sending multiple applications:
-
The letter of approval/assignment letter from the Editor/Commissioning Editor must be a combined one for all applicants from different publication centres/offices of the same media house
-
Where more than one reporter or photographer is applying for a match, the letter needs to also specify the priority order for each match, i.e. who is number one, number two, etc.; match-day accreditation will be provided on that basis, depending on spaces available
Please go through the Media Terms and Conditions and FAQs document available on the media accreditation portal and in the ICC Online Media Zone.
For access to the Online Media Zone please send in a request to media@icc-cricket.com with your name, organisation, designation and e-mail ID. Please note that Online Media Zone access is not required to apply for accreditation.
If you have any problems with the accreditation portal, please write to centralaccreditation@zomato.com.
The media release encapsulating the schedule is available here and will help in understanding the Super Eights fixtures.
Please note that no warnings will be given for any infringements of the Terms and Conditions and accreditation cards will be revoked straight away.
