Mishra's knock ensured that Kenya beat Ireland by seven wickets in the first One-Day International of the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Championship on Saturday.
At the Mombasa Sports Club, Ireland chose to bat but was bowled out for 200 in 47.3 overs. Paul Stirling (46) and Kevin O'Brien (39) were the key contributors in the effort.
For Kenya, James Ngoche (2-24), Shem Ngoche (2-40) and skipper Collins Obuya (3-24) were the key wicket-takers.
In its reply, Kenya lost couple of early wickets, but a steady 58-run stand between Collins Obuya (29) and Mishra (70 n.o.: 76b, 6x4) ensured that the chase was always on track.
Later an unbroken 100-run stand for the fourth-wicket between Mishra and Rakep Patel (42 not out) sealed the issue for Kenya.
The second One-Day International between these two sides will be played on Monday, 20 February.
