Cricket Kenya appoints new CEO

Cricket Kenya has appointed former Chief Executive of Derbyshire, Tom Sears, as its new Chief Executive.

The 40-year-old Sears was previously Head of Business Development at New Zealand Cricket and was also employed as Commercial Director at Worcestershire. Prior to this, he worked as a journalist and was also involved in rugby administration.

Kenya will take part in the upcoming ICC World Cricket League Division 1 event in the Netherlands which will also see Afghanistan, Canada, Ireland, Netherlands and Scotland participating.
