Thailand players rise in rankings after victorious home event
Gains on the latest T20I rankings for players from Thailand, Scotland and UAE following strong efforts at the inaugural Women's Emerging Nations Trophy event.
A host of Thailand players that dominated the recent ICC Women's Emerging Nations Trophy event have been the big winners on the latest ICC Women's T20I Player Rankings.
Thailand produced a superb performance on the final matchday to snatch the inaugural title on home soil, with young spinner Thipatcha Putthawong leading the way as she was adjudged the Bowler of the Tournament.

Putthawong collected 15 wickets at an average of 5.33 across seven matches at the event and the left-armer was rewarded by rising a total of 13 places to 21st overall on the latest rankings for T20I bowlers.
Teammate and fellow spinner Suleeporn Laomi picked up 12 wickets and jumped 10 spots to 37th overall as a result, while Scotland tweaker Olivia Bell rose 17 places to equal 29th following her eight wickets at the tournament that included a superb five-wicket haul in the final match against Thailand.

It was a similar story on the latest rankings for T20I batters, with an experienced right-hander from Thailand the big winner following some excellent efforts across the Emerging Nations Trophy event.
Natthakan Chantham managed 160 runs across the tournament - the fifth most for any player and rose one rung to improve to 33rd overall on the updated rankings for T20I batters as a result.
There were also gains on the rankings for T20I batters for UAE pair Theertha Satish (up four spots to 37th) and Esha Oza (up eight places to 38th), while stand-in Scotland captain Sarah Bryce was rewarded for her consistency at the tournament as she rose five rungs to 39th on the same list.
Oza was adjudged Player of the Tournament in Thailand for her 187 runs and seven wickets and the 27-year-old was the big mover on the latest rankings for T20I all-rounders as she moved up nine places to 15th overall.
