Kamran, Malik left out of PCB contracts - Cricket News
Shoaib Malik was left out of PCB's central contracts.
Kamran Akmal and Shoaib Malik were left out while Younis Khan was demoted when the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the central contracts for 31 players in Karachi on Thursday (June 5).

“The committee took three factors into consideration while finalising the list. These were form and performance, fitness level and future potential,” said Zakir Khan, PCB director who was a member of the committee that finalised the contracts.
“PCB has awarded central contracts to 31 established players and young ones with future potential – with across the board increases in remunerations,” said the PCB in a statement.

Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Hafeez, Saeed Ajmal and Junaid Khan were in the top tier, and now stand to earn 449,218 Pakistani rupees ($US 4560) a month.
Younis, who was in the ‘A’ category earlier, went down a level when the contracts were released after a five-month delay and he, along with the other ‘B’ category players, will receive slightly more than $US 3000 rupees a month.
Category ‘C’ cricketers will get just under $US 2000, while category ‘D’ players will earn around $US 900.

The board also raised Test match remuneration by 25%, while that for One-Day Internationals rose by 10%.
