28 – Stafanie Taylor returned figures of 1/28 against South Africa women in a group match of Women's World T20 2009 – it was her first wicket in the competition.
The all-rounder dismissed Alicia Smith disturbing the woodwork behind the right-hander with her right-arm off-break. The Windies captain now has 20 wickets in the tournament with a bowling average of 18.60.
The Jamaican, who is now the leading wicket-taker for Windies Women, will be an integral part of their squad ahead of the WWT20 in November. The fact that it will be played in the Caribbean islands helps the team's cause, more so since they are the defending champions of the tournament.
