Durham to welcome #CWC19 Fanzone to the city

Durham will host its first #CWC19 fixture on Friday as the clash between Sri Lanka and South Africa takes place at The Riverside Durham. The people of Durham are invited to head down to the free-to-enter Fanzone areas situated at both Millennium Square and Market Place to celebrate the arrival of the Cricket World Cup to the city.

The Fanzone will be showing live screenings of all World Cup action over the weekend, along with live music, entertainment and food and drink from around the globe, as well as exciting street cricket activities for all to try!

Four fixtures will be shown live in the Durham Fanzone across three days, including the huge England v India fixture from Edgbaston on Sunday.

FRIDAY 28 JUNE

Fanzone opens 10:00 AM

SATURDAY 29 JUNE

*Screening begins once Pakistan v Afghanistan match ends

SUNDAY 30 JUNE

Fanzone opens 10:00 AM
Live Screening 10:30 AM: England v India

Please note: Alcohol will be served in the Fanzone, but spectators are not allowed to bring their own alcohol in. No glass, large flags, chairs or portable furniture are allowed to be brought into the Fanzone.
