'The best bowler in the world at this stage' – Tendulkar hails 'fantastic' Bumrah
Tendulkar was speaking after Bumrah played a key role in Mumbai Indians’ one-run win over Chennai Super Kings in the final of the 2019 IPL, with the India fast bowler collecting figures of 2/14 to be named the Man of the Match.
Speaking to Yuvraj Singh after the match for IPLT20.com, Tendulkar – the leading run-scorer in the history of international cricket – lavished plenty of praise on Bumrah, who is in India’s squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
“Bumrah was fantastic,” said Tendulkar on the bowler's match-winning performance.

“Without any doubt, let me go on record and say that he is the best bowler in the world at this stage.
"The best is yet to come, hopefully.”
Bumrah is currently at the top of the MRF Tyres ICC Men’s ODI Bowling Rankings, and will enter the World Cup later this month in form. The 25-year-old finished the IPL as Mumbai’s leading wicket-taker, with his 19 wickets coming at an average of 21.52.
India’s World Cup campaign will begin on 5 June, when they take on India in Southampton.
