Ticket ballot to go live for Men's Cricket World Cup 2027

Global cricket fans will be able to register for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027 tickets via the ballot opening on October 1, 2026.

The ticket ballot will open alongside the official match schedule announcement for the Men's Cricket World Cup 2027, at the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) in Cape Town.

The process will give fans a fair opportunity to access the tickets for the 14th edition of the marquee tournament, which will be staged in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe next year. 

Fans everywhere will have a chance to register their interest for matches across all three host nations and be part of what will be Africa's biggest Cricket World Cup yet.

Entry for the ballot is free and won't be on a first-come, first-served basis. All valid entries received between the duration of October 1 and November 21, 2026 will be considered equally, regardless of when in the ballot period they are submitted.

How the ballot works:

Fans will be able to apply for as many matches as they wish, with each match treated as a separate entry. They can request up to four tickets per match while opting for their preferred ticket category at the same time.

A randomised ballot process will determine which valid entrants are eligible to purchase wherever the demand for a match exceeds the tickets available,

The entry for this process requires no payment. Successful entrants will later be contacted by email and given a defined window to purchase the tickets made available to them.

Where a match is not oversubscribed, registered fans will receive access to purchase tickets, with any remaining inventory potentially released in later sales phases. Entering the ballot does not guarantee tickets.

The upcoming edition will feature 14 teams competing across 12 venues and 57 matches for cricket's most prestigious prize.
