Star all-rounder Kathryn Bryce has once again been named captain as Scotland revealed their playing group for the ICC Women's Emerging Nations Trophy event in the UAE.

Bryce captained the team at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup earlier this year and the talented 28-year-old will again spearhead the Scots at this month's 10-team event that commences on 12 November.

There is a good mix of experience and youth in Scotland's 14-player squad, with the likes of Darcey Carter, Sarah Bryce and Katherine Fraser having all played plenty of international cricket alongside the more youthful members such as Gabriella Fontenla, Pippa Sproul and uncapped teenager Isabella Watson.

Fontenla and Sproul featured for Scotland at the most recent edition of the ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup back in 2025, while Watson could be in contention for next year's tournament given she is still only 18 years of age.
