Major returns power Proteas Women for New Zealand challenge
South Africa are gearing up to play five T20Is and three ODIs against the White Ferns.
Cricket South Africa confirmed the inclusion of multiple players in the women’s squad for the upcoming white-ball tour of New Zealand.
Former captain Dane van Niekerk, who had announced her return from retirement last year, has been included in the squad.
Also returning is the pace duo of Masabata Klaas and Ayabonga Khaka, both of whom also missed the ongoing series against Pakistan.

Another notable inclusion for the ODIs is that of Kayla Reyneke, who receives a maiden call-up. Reyneke had been an impressive feature of the Proteas T20I side during the series against Pakistan.
South Africa will compete against New Zealand in the five-match T20I series starting March 15. This will be followed by three ODIs from March 29. The three matches will be part of the ICC Women’s Championship.
