Zimbabwe and South Africa will clash in their final ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 Super Eight match in New Delhi on Saturday.

The game has no bearing on the semi-final race as the Proteas are already through while Zimbabwe are out of contention after losing to West Indies and India.

It has been a steep learning curve for the young African side that made a breakthrough of sorts at the World Cup. Having failed to qualify for the 2024 edition, Zimbabwe upset Australia and Sri Lanka in the group stage to make the Super Eight for the first time.

2024 finalists South Africa meanwhile are on a mission to go one better this time. Aiden Markram's team is undefeated at this World Cup so far, and began their Super Eights with a statement win over India.
