Pakistan are looking dialled in as the countdown to the ICC Men's T20 World Cup intensifies.

Moving to 2-0 in their three-game warm-up series against Australia, the team had match-winners in both key disciplines.

The Pakistan top order continued setting the tone that has carried from the early stages of game one; aggressive production.

Captain Salman Ali Agha slogged a 40-ball 76, while Usman Khan smashed a 36-ball 53. The hosts scored 198/5, their highest-ever T20I total against Australia.

“We batted well and then were outstanding with the ball," Ali Agha said post-game.

"The fielding was (also) outstanding.”

The bowling unit tore through Australia, led by Abrar Ahmed's 3/14 - all scalps against top six bats.

And despite having wrapped up the series, there is no plan to mix too much up for the third and final contest of the series; their last hit out before the T20 World Cup kicks off.

“We want to play in the same way, forget the 2-0 scoreline and come again with the same intensity and go to the World Cup with the same energy,” Ali Agha continued.

Usman Khan believes the side can continue to answer their critics and take it to some of the world's best teams throughout the ICC's upcoming major event.

"No one has seen the future, but whatever our team is planning, we are playing according to our calculations and we will try to do better and better," Khan told media after their game two win over the Aussies.

"I know no one can stop me. I will try to do better than better."

Pakistan have been placed with India, Namibia, Netherlands and the USA in Group A at the T20 World Cup.

And there isn't long between game three of their series with Australia and their first tournament appearance. They play in the opener on February 7 against the Netherlands in Colombo - the same venue of all their Group A games, including their mega showdown against India.
