Sri Lanka became the final side to reveal their squad for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026.

Sri Lanka have announced their squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, with all-rounder Dasun Shanaka taking charge as skipper.

Shanaka had been announced as their skipper in the preliminary squad that was released in December.

The squad features a strong core of white-ball experience in the form of Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, Kusal Perera and Charith Asalanka.

All-round depth remains a key strength, with Wanindu Hasaranga, Kamindu Mendis and Dunith Wellalage offering balance with both the bat and ball.

The bowling unit includes established pace options such as Dushmantha Chameera and Matheesha Pathirana, alongside mystery spinner Maheesh Theekshana.

Sri Lanka are currently engaged in a T20I series against England at home, which the tourists lead by 2-0. The final game is due to be played tomorrow.

The island nation have won the tournament once in the past, back in 2014, when they defeated India in the final to lift the title.
