Zimbabwe unveil squad for T20 World Cup 2026

Zimbabwe have confirmed its 15-man squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, set to be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from 7 February to 8 March.

The Chevrons, who sealed their spot with a flawless campaign in the Africa Qualifier, have named a balanced side for the marquee ICC event.

Sikandar Raza will lead the side that missed out on qualification to the event in 2024.

Sikandar Raza hits joint second-fastest T20I century

Raza's century came off just 33 balls, making it the joint-second fastest hundred in men's T20Is.

Zimbabwe’s squad features a strong core, aiming to build on their strong qualification form, including standout performers from the Africa Qualifier.

Brian Bennett leads the batting charge after a prolific showing in the qualifiers. His form will be crucial in top-order stability.

Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava provide the pace threat up front, while Graeme Cremer’s spin craft brings valuable variation to the attack.

Veteran Brendan Taylor with a wealth of experience, returning to bolster the batting order and offer leadership experience.

Zimbabwe’s qualification for the World Cup marked a significant achievement for the team, remaining unbeaten in the Africa Qualifier and lifting the trophy in front of a spirited home crowd in Harare.

They are placed in Group B alongside Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland and Oman.
