The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 is witnessing unprecedented fan engagement, with tickets sold out for two of India’s biggest group-stage fixtures.

India's clash against Australia in Visakhapatnam on 12 October and their game against England game in Indore on 19 October at the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 have officially sold out.

Fans purchased 15,087 tickets for the Australia encounter and 17,859 for the England match, ensuring packed houses at both venues.

This surge in demand builds on the electric start to the tournament, where a record 22,843 spectators turned up in Guwahati for India’s commanding win in the opener against Sri Lanka – the highest-ever attendance for a group-stage game at an ICC Women’s event.

The previous best was 15,935 during India’s match against Pakistan at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 in Dubai.

India’s remaining group-stage fixtures at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai are also drawing huge crowds. The India vs New Zealand contest on 23 October is already 90% sold out, while 82% of tickets have been booked for the India vs Bangladesh fixture on 26 October. .
