Namibia registered a eight wickets win over Canada on the fourth and final day of the ICC Intercontinental Cup match at the Wanderers Cricket Ground in Windhoek.

On Sunday, Namibia bowled out Canada for 213 with a lead of just 113 runs. Set to chase 114 for a win, Namibia chased it down to end at 119-2 in 25.4 overs.

Resuming at its overnight score of 167-7. Canada lost wickets at regular intervals. Zeeshan Siddiqi (73 n.o.: 147b, 7x4) was the only batsman to offer any resistance.

Namibia's Christi Viljoen (7-61) was the main wicket-taker.

In the chase, Ewald Steenkamp (60 n.o.: 60b, 9x4, 1x6) added 86 runs for the opening wicket with Pikky Ya France (31). Thereafter the result it was a foregone conclusion.

The teams now get down to playing two one-dayers in the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Championship.
