1. Was hit by a car outside a hotel in Adelaide after South Australia's Shield win against Victoria in 2013, receiving injuries to his head and back.
2. Scored his maiden ODI century against Pakistan in 2017 and was involved in a 284-run partnership with David Warner, the highest Australian opening partnership in an ODI.
3. Grabbed headlines in the 2015-16 BBL with a breathtaking 53-ball century which made Adam Gilchrist change his Twitter profile photo to be an image of Head.
4. Playing in his first ICC CT.
5. ODI debut against West Indies at Basseterre in 2016.
6. His breakthrough hundred came in the middle of 2014, an innings of 108 for the National Performance Squad in a 50-over match against South Africa A.
7. In 2015-16 he captained South Australia to their first Sheffield Shield final in 20 years.
8. Earned his first call-up to Australia's squad at the age of 22 for a series of Twenty20s against India in early 2016.
