1. Is the son of former New Zealand allrounder Rod Latham.

2. Became the first player to score a fifty in a day-night Test in the third Test against Australia in the 2015-16 series, which was also the first ever day-night Test.

3. Became the 10th batsman in history to carry his bat through an all-out ODI innings in the Dharamsala ODI in 2016.
4. Playing in his first ICC CT.
5. ODI debut against Zimbabwe at Dunedin in 2012.
6. Son of former Kiwi Rod Latham, he was part of New Zealand's Under-19 World Cup squad in 2010.
7. Against Pakistan in the UAE in November 2014 he scored centuries in successive Tests, the first New Zealand batsman to do so for 24 years.
8. Having not played a game in ICC CWC 2015, he made his maiden ODI hundred in Zimbabwe, and scored three successive half-centuries in South Africa.
