Player Bio

Andy Roberts was a fast bowler and the very first Antiguan to play Test Cricket for the West Indies. He managed to take the rare feat of seven wickets in an innings of a Test match twice. He played first-class cricket in England for Hampshire County Cricket Club and Leicestershire County Cricket Club.

He formed part of the "quartet" of West Indian fast bowlers from the mid-70s to the early 80s that had such a devastating effect on opposition batsmen in both Test and One Day International cricket.
