One of the greatest opening bowlers for Australia, Ray Lindwall bowled beautifully in tandem with Keith Miller to end his Test career with 228 wickets at an average of 23.03.

Player Bio

Having taken 228 wickets in 61 Tests, Ray Lindwall is considered one of Australia’s best fast bowlers ever. His best figures in an innings of 7/38 came in the fourth Test during India’s 1947-48 tour of Australia. Lindwall’s seven wickets handed Australia a thumping innings-and-16-run win.

Lindwall also had decent talent with the bat, averaging 21.15 and scoring 1,502 runs. He scored two centuries in Test cricket and his 100 off 90 balls against England at Melbourne in 1947 was the second-fastest by an Australian at that time.
