EXCITEMENT BUILDS AHEAD OF ICC MEN’S T20 WORLD CUP EUROPE SUB-REGIONAL QUALIFIER B IN DENMARK

- Nine nations will compete in the second of three Europe Sub-Regional Qualifiers on the journey to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028
- Event takes place in Denmark from 8-14 July, with the winner securing a place at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier
- Jersey have already qualified, with the final Europe Sub-Regional Qualifier C event scheduled for August in Finland
The fixtures for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Sub-Regional Qualifier B have been confirmed, with nine teams competing from 8-14 July in what will be the first senior ICC event to be hosted in Denmark in the modern era.
Denmark are joined by Belgium, Estonia, Gibraltar, Hungary, Norway, Romania, Serbia and Türkiye, who will compete across six match days at the Svanholm Cricket Ground and Køge Cricket Ground.
The nine teams will be divided into two groups, with Belgium, Romania, Gibraltar and Serbia in Group A and Norway, Denmark, Hungary, Estonia and Türkiye in Group B. The group stage will be contested in a single round-robin format, with the two group winners advancing to the Final.
The eventual champion from Europe Sub-Regional Qualifier B will secure a place at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier in 2027. Jersey was the first team to advance from the Europe Sub-Regional Qualifier A in May, with the final Europe Sub-Regional Qualifier C event scheduled for August in Finland.
