The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a global, multi-year partnership with Marriott Bonvoy that will enhance the fan experience at its Events, by offering fans access to premium accommodation around the world when travelling to watch top-class international cricket.
Unveiled today in Mumbai, the association sees the award-winning travel platform become the ICC’s Official Accommodation Partner through to 2029. The partnership covers all ICC men’s events, beginning with the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka, starting 7 February.
The announcement comes fresh off the back of the ICC’s recent launches of partnerships with Hyundai Motor and AB InBev and further strengthens its impressive global commercial portfolio that includes Emirates, Aramco, DP World, Sobha and Coca-Cola, alongside Google and Unilever as partners for ICC women’s events.
The tie-up with Marriott Bonvoy, a premium industry-leader, is further testament to the commercial value that brands are generating from ICC Events and the ways in which they are able to connect with cricket fans at scale around the world.
Bringing together the worlds of cricket and travel, the partnership will leverage Marriott Bonvoy’s global footprint of more than 450 properties across key ICC event markets, to cater for fans, teams, officials and ICC stakeholders alike.
Those attending ICC tournaments will be able to stay across Marriott Bonvoy’s extensive portfolio and even access exclusive experiences through official travel packages available via ICC Travel and Tours. For more details please sign up here
The partnership will extend to select ICC events and conferences and enable collaboration on bespoke cricket-led content, local activations and enhanced member engagement.
