The Emirates ICC International Panel of Match Officials have been confirmed for each match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 group stages, with Jacquline Williams and Eloise Sheridan chosen as on-field umpires for Friday's opening match.

An all-female match officials panel has been confirmed for the tournament, with 14 umpires and four match referees overseeing a record 33 games.

Nine members of the umpire team from the 2024 edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup will return, as Claire Polosak stands in the middle for a sixth T20 World Cup.

Williams is set for her fifth T20 World Cup and starts at Edgbaston, where hosts England will hope for a fast start when they open the tournament against Sri Lanka on 12 June.

GS Lakshmi is the match referee, while Polosak is the TV umpire.

The action then comes thick and fast, with three matches taking place on 13 June, including the mouth-watering clash between Australia and South Africa at Old Trafford.

That follows Scotland against Ireland, which will be managed by on-field umpires Candace La Borde and Shathira Jakir Jessy, who are set to make their Women’s T20 World Cup debuts.

Kerrin Klaaste makes her own T20 World Cup bow as the TV umpire when New Zealand play the West Indies at the Hampshire Bowl on 13 June, while Gayathri Venugopalan’s debut comes the following day when Bangladesh face the Netherlands at Edgbaston.

That match is part one of an exciting double-header which also includes the highly-anticipated clash between India and Pakistan. That will be overseen by on-field umpires Polosak and Williams.

There are 30 matches group matches between 12 June and 28 June, with the top two teams from Group A and Group B qualifying for the semi-finals.

The match officials for the semi-finals and final will be announced at a later date.
