It’s been a memorable year for the ICC as cricket shattered global viewership records, expanded into new territories, elevated women’s cricket to unprecedented heights, secured transformative commercial partnerships and strengthened its footprint as a truly global sport.

The recent ICC Men’s T20 World Cup was the most accessible and global event the game has seen, with 1.3 million fans in venues, 72 million concurrent viewers of the final setting a global streaming record and 2.4 million emerging market fans.

Meanwhile, the women’s game touched new highs with the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 delivering 1.5 billion global viewing hours, which is three times more than the previous edition.

Among other highlights, the ICC’s commercial department closed over $110M USD in new agreements, while transforming the portfolio with a slew of global giants like Hyundai coming on board.

And the game continues to grow beyond the established nations, with 700 bilateral T20I among Associate Members (outside of ICC events) in 2025. At the grassroots level, participation numbers jumped 25%, with 42% of new participants were women and girls.
