International Cricket Council unveils Broadcast Arrangements for ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024

The International Cricket Council has announced the details of its broadcast arrangements for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 with the aim to engage more fans around the world than ever before for a women’s ICC world event.

The ICC, through its direct broadcast partnerships with world class broadcasters will bring the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup - which kicks off on the 3 October with 23 matches being played across 18 days - to fans around the globe. The final will take place on 20 October in Dubai, as 10 nations Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, Scotland, South Africa, Sri Lanka and West Indies battle it out to be crowned champions.

In India, Star Sports Network and Disney+ Hotstar will be the place for fans to watch. In addition to the English world feed coverage of all 23 fixtures, India matches will also be broadcast live with Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada commentary across the Star Sports network and digital platform Disney+ Hotstar, through the Cricket Live programme. Disney+ Hotstar will again showcase all India matches with a sign language feed with descriptive commentary. In-play clips of all the must watch moments will be available across Disney+ Hotstar and Star Sports India social media channels.

In the UAE and the entire MENA region, all matches will be streamed Live on STARZON for free, with broadcast coverage made available on CricLife Women, a pop up channel curated for this event for viewers in the region.

In the UK and Ireland, cricket lovers can catch the action live on Sky Sports Cricket, Sky Sports Main Event, and digitally via the SkyGO, NOW and Sky Sports App.

Defending champions Australia will be looking for an astonishing seventh Women’s T20 World Cup title and Amazon will stream all 23 matches on Prime Video. In addition to world feed coverage of all 23 matches, plus a Hindi option for all India matches, 10-minute post-match highlights will be available for free to all Amazon account holders in Australia. For fans in New Zealand, Sky Sport NZ continues to be the to go broadcaster for ICC Women's T20 World Cup matches.

Fans in Pakistan can watch all matches via our linear partners PTV and Ten Sports (Ten’s coverage will be live via their distribution partners A-Sports), and digitally through the Myco, Tamasha and Shoq apps. Nagorik TV will be the linear TV broadcasters in Bangladesh, with Toffee making the entire tournament available on their app and website.

Fans supporting South Africa can watch all the action live on SuperSport Cricket and SuperSport Cricket Africa and its app which will be available across the country and to the 52 Sub-Saharan Africa territories.

Maharaja TV in Sri Lanka continue their coverage of ICC's events through TV1 on linear and their website on digital. Fans can also watch coverage of the event in Sri Lanka through the ICC TV app.

WillowTV will be the home of the Women’s T20 World Cup for fans in the US and Canada whilst coverage will also be available via the Willow by Cricbuzz app. In the Caribbean fans can watch all the action live via ESPN Caribbean on TV and stream through the ESPN Play Caribbean app. For the first time, Disney+ will make a full ICC event available through their platform via the ESPN Play app.

The ICC will continue to stream the Women's T20 World Cup live and free on ICC.tv via the official tournament app to 116 territories in Afghanistan, Continental Europe, the Pacific Islands, and South-East Asia. This move will enable more fans in these markets to enjoy the sport whilst building ICC.tv as a cricket destination. In addition to live matches there will also be ICC produced programming and highlights available to viewers.

Fans on the move will be able to catch live ball by ball audio commentary via ABC in Australia, BBC in the UK, the FunAsia Network in the Middle East and All India Radio in India (for the India matches, semi finals and the final).

Once again fans will be able to listen to ICC World Cup cricket from wherever they are via the English-language audio world feed featuring a world-class commentary panel. To listen, fans can access via the ‘Match Centre’ on the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup website and mobile app, with listeners able to follow all the action live and free from any connected device for each of the 23 matches.
