MEDIA ACCREDITATION ADVISORY FOR SEMIFINALS AND FINAL
Media advisory
We hope you have enjoyed covering the Group Stage and Super Eights of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
We have now begun the process of match-day accreditation for the semifinals and the final. For this, you need to log in again to the media accreditation portal here and select the matches you intend to cover.
The portal will remain open until 17h00 Indian Standard Time on Monday, 2 March. We will aim to finalise the match-day lists by 14h00 on 3 March for both semifinals and by 14h00 on 6 March for the final.
Please note that applying for these matches does not guarantee your match-day accreditation. The match-day lists will be drawn up keeping in mind the participating teams and preference will be given to media from those countries as per our general pecking order. Please only travel to the venue if you have got confirmation of match-day accreditation.
Accredited media who have attended tournament matches regularly will be given preference over others who are also accredited but have missed matches without informing us or journalists/media houses who have not covered any league matches.
Only those already accredited for the tournament will be able to apply.
Where a media house is nominating more than one reporter or photographer for a match, a letter needs to be provided by the Editor/Sports Editor/Photo Chief confirming their priority order. This letter needs to be sent to centralaccreditation@zomato.com by the deadline for applications.
We will allot space according to the order provided to us. In case we do not get any such priority order and approvals are made as per our understating, changes will not be possible due to the short windows available.
In case of any problems with the portal, please write to centralaccreditation@zomato.com.
Media Spaces: Please note that the press box and other media spaces will open at 16h30 for the knockout matches.
